Foaling Season has ended and what a great season we have had!!!!!!!!

Show Season has started

Sympathique de Rose and Tattersalls
have already started competing in hand and Abielle will join them in a couple of weeks.

They have joined Denise Lenn and Heather Bennett of Old Welbourne Farm for their in hand careers

We are thrilled with how they are competing and the ribbons that they are bringing home.

Tattersalls in her yearling class.

Rascala of Castleton and Kinsale have started their under saddle training with Silvia Geyer of Germany.
They will both remain with Silvia until August when they will return home to be presented to the German Oldenburg Verband.
They will than return to Silvia to continue their training throughout the fall. 

We will visit them in a couple of weeks to see how they are progressing and hope to get some photos at that time.

North American Selle Francais Inspection Tour

Castleton Farm is proud to announce that

 Tattersalls
Grand Marnier x Kapalua (Leutnant)

was awarded Elite status as well as High Scoring Foal for the 2007 Selle Francais inspection tour.

Tallersalls was awarded a total score of "9"
by inspector and renowned Selle Francais breeder
Mr. Bernard Le Courtois.

Tallersall's score of "9" is the highest ever awarded and has won her the title of
Highest Scoring Foal in the history of the North American Selle Francais Inspections.

Look for Tattersalls in the December 2, 2007 Stallion issue of The Chronicle of the Horse magazine!!!!

Castleton Farm was a proud host for the
Selle Francais Inspection Tour  for 2006

Mr. Patrick Clerin (from France) and Ms. Sheryl VanGundy (NASFA)     -inspectors, with several of us at the inspection.
It turned out to be a beautiful fall day.
Beautiful horses, good food and wonderful conversation!

Sympathique de Rose was awarded an Excellent rating with a score of 7.6.
