Valenciennes is a 2008 Oldenburg gelding. He was awarded Premium status at his German Oldenburg Verband inspection. This is a stunning, huge gelding that is bred to jump the moon, with not only style but grace being a half brother to the famous stallion Popeye K. He is out of Sev's Dancer, our foundation broodmare that has only produced Elite or Premium foals. He is also a stunning mover as proven by his Premium award from the GOV. Valenciennes is by VOLTAIRE. Voltaire had more offspring at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta than any other stallion. Voltaire was an influential sire of show jumpers, dressage horses, and show hunters. In the US he was awarded the title of “Hunter Sire of the Year” for 2001, 2002, and 2003. He had a successful career as a show jumper, competing over 1.50 m courses as an eight-year-old. He was especially successful in 1988 with Jos Lansink, winning Nations Cup classes at Calgary, Stockholm, Lanaken, Helsinski, Wiesbaden and Wembley. In 1989 he ended his competitive career with a win at the Grand Prix of Berlin and a 2nd place in the Grand Prix of Leeuwarden. It would seem that Voltaire´s influence will continue not just through his stallion sons but through his fillies. The individual bronze medal in jumping at Athens went to Royal Kaliber (USA) – by Ramiro but out of a Voltaire mare. Valenciennes is going to mature to be a very "big boy". We estimate approx. mature height to be 17.2 hands. Whether you a looking for a lovely Hunter, Jumper or Dresage horse, Valenciennes is going to be a stunning and talented competition horse.

Abielle of Castleton is a 2007 approved bay Trakehner filly by Abdullah - the 1984 Olympic Gold Medal winner and out of Sev's Dancer. Sev's Dancer is our foundation broodmare. She has produced 100% Elite or Premium foals within the Selle Francais, GOV Oldenburg and Trakenher registries. Abielle is a lovely type and has lovely hunter movement. She is maturing nicely and has grown consistently nice and even. She is a "lover" and adores affection. At her ATA approval she received one 7 and all 8's and was branded with the ATA brand. The judges commented that she was the nicest Abdullah filly that they had ever inspected or seen, and was of equal or better quality as to that being produced in Germany. This filly has the bloodlines to excel at either the hunters or the jumpers. This will be the first offspring of Sev's Dancer that we have offered for sale. We reluctantly offer her for sale and do so only to the right home as we just have too many young horses at this time to bring along and promote.

Castleton's Molly is a 2008 Chestnut Welsh Pony filly. "Molly" is as sweet as a button. She is out of the medium pony "For a Tuppence" and by the medium pony "Alexander". Molly will end up a medium as is her mother and father. Her dam "For a Tuppence" is approved with the Wesser EMS registry of the German Oldenburg Verband. Molly has the "look" and attitude to become a wonderful childrens hunter pony, or a pony club pony. Molly has wonderful manners, she leads like a angel and even goes for walks with us. She has had a couple of baths already and loads and trailers wonderfully, and stands for the farrier.

"Sam" is a 16.1 hand, 13 year old seal brown/black Appendix Quarter Horse. Extremely quiet with wonderful manners. Sam has been used as our hunt horse/trail horse and guest horse for the past 7 years. He is a solid citizen and is wonderful in every way. He self loads, lunges, cross ties, baths, clips, is good for the farrier and vet and gets along with all types of other horses - mares, geldings and ponies. His only fault is that he is a cribber, which we control with a cribbing collar. Sam hunted with the Fox River Valley Hunt for several years until they moved to Galena. Walks through water, over bridges and through anything. He is only being sold as we just do not have enough time to give him due to our breeding operation. A good home is a must!
